SUMMARY:Philip M. Barshop Founder's Award Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Register Here\nThe San Antonio-area real estate industry has become a bulwark of the region’s economy\, creating 133\,500 jobs\, producing almost $36 billion in annual impact\, and creating 1/7 of the area’s total economic output. That success was built on the shoulders of great leaders\, including Philip M. Barshop\, who was one of the industry’s most active and effective voices prior to his passing in November 1998. \nPhil was responsible for establishing the San Antonio Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) in 1981. Under Phil’s leadership NAIOP was the voice for the commercial real estate industry until early 1991. When it became necessary for a more locally focused organization to be developed\, Phil was an instrumental force in helping establish the Real Estate Council of San Antonio. \nThe Real Estate Council has established a fitting tribute to the man who is regarded as “founder” of our organization. The purpose of the Philip Barshop Founder’s Award is to honor those who carry forward Phil’s legacy of leadership\, hard work\, community involvement and advocacy for the real estate industry – attributes which are now more important than ever before. \nEvent Check-In: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM\nProgram & Award: 12:00 – 1:00 PM \n2025 Keynote Speaker:\nEsperanza “Hope” Andrade\nCo-Founder & Partner\, Go Rio River Cruises\nFormer Texas Secretary of State \nModerated by Emily Baucum\, Associate Director of Public Relations\, The Alamo \n2025 Event Pricing:\nPreferred Table: $1\,200 (seats 8 & premium location & logo recognition on your table) – SOLD OUT\nMember Table: $1\,000 (seats 8)\nRECSA Member Seat: $125\nNon-Member Seat: $150\nNon-Member Table: $1\,500 \nSponsored By:\n \n\n \nRegister Here
