RECSA has played a significant role in the City of San Antonio’s process for updating its unified development code (UDC), which provides protocols and requirements for land development and building use. The process occures every five years. RECSA has been at the table for every revision, reviewing draft language, conducting research and meeting with City Departments and community stakeholders. RECSA has also had several members represent the industry and contribute their expertise while serving on the Planning Commission and/or Planning Technical Advisory Committee (PCTAC).
